What is HiveDash?
HiveDash is a beekeeping companion app. It helps you keep track of your apiaries and hives — logging inspections, recording notes, photos and voice memos, following each colony’s health, and staying on top of tasks and treatments.
Is it free?
Yes. HiveDash is currently free to use — add a hive and start logging, no payment required.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. HiveDash is offline-first, so you can log everything while you’re standing at the hives with no connection. Your records save to your device and sync automatically once you’re back online.
Is my data backed up and synced across devices?
When you’re signed in, your records sync to your account, so the same data shows up on your phone, tablet or computer. Until a sync happens, a local copy is kept on your device.
How do I sign in?
You can create an account with your email, or sign in with Google. Your data is tied to your account.
Which languages are supported?
Nine: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian and Ukrainian. You can switch language in the app’s settings.
How do I add an apiary or a hive?
From the home screen, add an apiary, then add as many hives to it as you keep. Each hive gets its own record, inspection history and tasks.
What are the photo insights?
You can attach photos to an inspection, and HiveDash helps you read what a frame is showing. Treat these as a helpful second look — not a replacement for your own judgement or professional advice.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. You control your data and can delete your account and its associated data. For details on what we store and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
